Our Programs
Our classes will all take place on a 118 acre farm in North Bend, Ohio sharing the border with Lawrenceburg, Indiana. We are less than five minutes from the front entrance of Hidden Valley Lake and about ten minutes from 275 as well as Greendale and downtown Lawrenceburg. The farm offers a variety of outdoor play opportunities from open field to trails in the woods. We will have a “home base” in a temperature controlled classroom in one of the barns where we will start each day. We will also utilize this space in the event of any inclement weather.
Family Class
A caregiver + child nature class where everyone can enjoy time outside together. Children 18 months to 6 years old come together with their parent or guardian to listen to engage in activities, play and explore in nature. Please dress for the weather and for children under 2, consider bringing a baby carrier as many classes will include a hike. Closed toe shoes/hiking/rain boots are strongly recommended. All siblings of any age are welcome - babies under 18 months are free.
The general rhythm of the class will be:
Families arrive - children explore play/nature materials provided while caregivers supervise and socialize with each other.
Story time! We will read a book each class that ties in with a hands-on activity.
Hike/free play! Each class will end with a hike, free play or both!

Forest School
For potty trained children ages 3-6 years old - mixed age groups (for more information about age grouping please read “Ages We Serve” in the About Us section) .
Coming 2026-2027 school year!
Classes are held 3 days a week from August-May with holiday and seasonal breaks.
Drop off and pickup at the barn. Class times are 9:00am-12:00pm with added option to bring a packed lunch and stay until 1:00pm.
Select events that encourage family/community involvement will be planned throughout the year.
